The tweets, which came as part of a larger spree of almost two dozen tweets over the course of the morning, came moments before the House Judiciary Committee gathered to vote on authorizing subpoenas to 12 witnesses in the Mueller investigation…Among those in Democrats’ crosshairs are a dozen individuals who either worked in the Trump administration or who have close ties to Trump, including Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, former Attorney General Jeff Sessions, former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, former national security adviser Michael Flynn, former chief of staff John Kelly and former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. The White House has stonewalled requests for information from Democrats, oftentimes invoking executive privilege to block testimony.
