That number, first reported by The New York Times, eclipses the roughly $85 million in contributions then-President Barack Obama’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee raised during the same period in 2011 as he sought a second White House term…Trump and his fundraising committees raked in $54 million of the $105 million total, while the RNC collected $51 million.
