The Post also reported that there is no detailed record of Trump’s interactions with Putin at five locations over the past two years, according to U.S. officials. The president referred to his roughly two-hour meeting with Putin in Helsinki — at which only the leaders and their translators were present — as ‘a great conversation’ that included discussions about “securing Israel and lots of other things’…House Republicans in July quashed an attempt by Democratic lawmakers to subpoena Trump’s interpreter in Helsinki. POLITICO previously reported that Putin raised the subjects of nuclear arms controls and weapons prohibitions in space during the one-on-one conference, according to a Russian document.”
