BRETT KAVANAUGH/FBI/SENATE/SEX ABUSE/SUPREME COURT/TRUMP AS PRESIDENT/WOMEN: “President Donald Trump said on Monday [10-1-18] that he wants a ‘very comprehensive investigation’ into sexual assault claims against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, after reports emerged that the White House was seeking to limit the scope of the probe…The FBI is conducting a one-week investigation into sexual assault claims against Kavanaugh, which was forced by Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), who agreed to advance the judge’s nomination out of the Senate Judiciary Committee only with the agreement that there would be a further FBI background investigation into Trump’s Supreme Court nominee. The White House asked for the probe following Flake’s request. The investigation comes after public testimony last week from Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, who accused Kavanaugh of drunkenly pinning her to a bed and groping her when they were in high school. Two other women, Deborah Ramirez and Julie Swetnick, have also accused Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct. The judge has denied all the allegations.”
