LEGAL/MICHAEL COHEN/TRUMP AS PRESIDENT/WOMEN: “President Donald Trump’s newly filed financial disclosure notes a payment connected to an adult-film actress who alleged a relationship with him more than a decade ago. The payment is documented as a reimbursement to attorney Michael Cohen of between $100,001 and $250,000 for expenses in 2016. The Wall Street Journal previously reported that Mr. Cohen struck an agreement with Stephanie Clifford, the former adult-film actress professionally known as Stormy Daniels, weeks before the 2016 presidential election. Through a limited liability company, Mr. Cohen paid Ms. Clifford $130,000. Mr. Trump’s new attorneys have said he agreed to pay Mr. Cohen $250,000 in part for negotiating the nondisclosure agreement that was tied to the payment to Ms. Clifford. Mr. Trump has denied a relationship with Ms. Clifford. Mr. Trump’s financial disclosure form covers last year and was reviewed and released by the Office of Government Ethics.”
