GOP lawmakers had expected a bill including a provision expediting the sale of silencers, also known as suppressors, to come to the House floor later this month. But after Sunday night’s deadly mass shooting in Las Vegas, Republicans said they no longer expected the legislation, which was approved by the House Natural Resources Committee last month, to come up for a full House vote.”
