Under former President Barack Obama’s administration, undocumented immigrants who didn’t fall into one of the administration’s priority groups were generally safe from deportation. The Obama priority groups included people convicted of serious crimes and recent border crossers. Under the new Trump policies, officials said Tuesday [2-21-17], anybody in the U.S. illegally is subject to deportation at any time.”
