2020 ELECTION/ARIZONA/TRUMP CAMPAIGN: “Attorneys for the Trump campaign said Friday [Nov. 13, 2020] they’re no longer seeking a court’s intervention into the presidential race in Arizona.

The Trump campaign, along with the state and national Republican party, sued in Arizona last week, alleging some in-person votes cast in Maricopa County were improperly rejected.

At a daylong hearing Thursday, Kory Langhofer, an attorney for the Trump campaign, made clear the campaign wasn’t alleging any voter fraud but instead claimed some poll workers submitted ballots that had errors that voters weren’t given the opportunity to fix. The number of votes at issue was less than 200, and Mr. Langhofer said at the close of the hearing that they wouldn’t ask election officials to recount those ballots if they had no ability to affect the outcome of the race…

A Trump campaign spokesman said the campaign continues to explore its options in Arizona…

The Arizona Secretary of State’s office has disputed the allegations in the lawsuit and said there was no evidence of votes not being counted.”
