ELECTION/JOE BIDEN/MEDIA/POLLS/TRUMP AS PRESIDENT: “President Donald Trump renewed his attacks on Fox News on Friday [7-26-19], complaining that the network’s pollsters aren’t favorable enough to him after claiming the news organization had been ‘Proud Warriors’ for him in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election…The poll he appears to be referencing shows the president losing a handful of hypothetical matchups against 2020 Democratic front-runners. The national survey said Trump would lose to Biden by 10 percentage points and to Sen. Bernie Sanders by 6 points. It showed him beating Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris, though, by 1 point, slim differences within the poll’s margin of error, which is 3 percentage points. That poll showed Biden with a comfortable cushion among 2020 Democrats, with a lead of more than double his next closest competitor, Sanders.”
