JOE BIDEN/SOCIAL MEDIA/TRUMP AS PRESIDENT: “President Donald Trump posted a mocking video of former Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday, poking fun at the potential candidate’s recent explanation that his propensity for touching other people was about making a “human connection…Trump’s video includes a cut out of Biden meandering around behind the former vice president – at one point smelling his hair, a reference to an actual incident involving Biden. The video, initially posted on YouTube, was initially posted by Trump’s social media director Wednesday night. Biden, who is considering a bid for the White House in 2020, says in the original video that his touching was all about making a ‘human connection.’ Biden’s original video was in response to allegations from women of unwanted and inappropriate behavior. Trump has demurred on questions about Biden. ‘I wish him luck,’ Trump told reporters Wednesday [4-3-19]…The allegations against Biden come amid #MeToo, a movement started nearly a decade ago that went viral in 2017 as women in Hollywood and across the country began sharing stories of sexual harassment and assault.”
