DEMS/ROBERT MUELLER/RUSSIA INVESTIGATION/TRUMP AS PRESIDENT: “President Donald Trump on Tuesday [2-5-19] denounced ‘ridiculous partisan’ investigations during his State of the Union address, adding that there cannot be peace as long as there is ‘war and investigation’…Trump did not specify which investigations he was referring to, but he has often attacked special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into possible collusion between Russians and his 2016 campaign as a ‘witch hunt.’ But even as Mueller’s investigation shows signs of reaching its conclusion, Trump is facing an explosion of probes from newly empowered House Democrats and federal prosecutors examining other aspects of Trump’s business and political activities.”
