HURRICANE/TRUMP AS PRESIDENT: “President Donald Trump travels to Florida today to survey the damage left in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael, a Category 4 hurricane that left at least 17 people dead. Although it’s still not known exactly where in the state the president will visit, the White House said he will be accompanied on the trip by the first lady. By the numbers: As of Sunday [10-14-18] afternoon, close to 188,000 customers in Florida and roughly 120,000 in Georgia were without power, according to the Energy Department. Close to 6 percent of Florida gas stations, including 39 percent in the Florida Panhandle, and 4 percent of Georgia gas stations were reported out of service as of Sunday.”
