JUSTICE DEPARTMENT/NOMINATION/SUPREME COURT/TRUMP AS PRESIDENT/TRUMP PEOPLE: “President Donald Trump on Wednesday [9-26-18] said he would prefer to not fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, whose position is in jeopardy after reports that he at one time discussed secretly recording Trump out of concern about chaos in the administration…Trump said he will meet with Rosenstein but might ask for a delay to their meeting, which is currently set for Thursday, to avoid interfering with the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing with Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, who has accused the judge of sexual assault when they were both in high school.”
