NORTH KOREA/TRUMP AS PRESIDENT: “President Donald Trump on Monday [4-9-18] extended the timetable for his anticipated meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, saying the summit might not happen until early June. ‘We’ll be meeting with them sometime in May, or early June,’ Mr. Trump said at the start of a cabinet meeting. The president told his White House team in March that he wanted the meeting to take place in May, an ambitious schedule for a summit over potential diplomatic solutions aimed at easing nuclear tensions between the two countries.”
