These denials look to cut against a talking point the White House and pro-Trump Republicans are using to deflect attention from Donald Trump Jr.’s June meeting with Natalia Veselnitskaya, a lawyer described to him as an emissary of the Russian government. The meeting, which first came to light on Saturday in a report by The New York Times, has rocked the Trump White House.”
