FBI/INTELLIGENCE/OBAMA/TRUMP AS PRESIDENT/WIRETAPPING: “Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James Comey held meetings with top lawmakers at the Capitol on Thursday [3-9-17] in the midst of growing pressure over political and legal controversies involving the Trump administration.
The precise subjects of the talks were unknown. The meetings took place as pressure was building in Congress for the administration to substantiate President Donald Trump’s claims in Twitter messages last weekend that former President Barack Obama ordered surveillance on Trump Tower during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Mr. Obama has denied that claim, and the FBI has asked the Justice Department to publicly rebut the charge, The Wall Street Journal has reported.”
