FOREIGN POLICY/PROTESTS/UK: “British lawmakers on Monday debated a call to block President Donald Trump from a state visit, putting Prime Minister Theresa May in an uncomfortable position as she seeks to strengthen ties with the new U.S. administration.
The nonbinding debate came in response to a petition signed by 1.8 million people calling for Mr. Trump’s state visit to be canceled and another with more than 300,000 signatures calling for it to go on.”
